Problem with screen resolution

Hi

I am trying to install Ubuntu on an old Dell computer, but when I run the live CD I get an error message at the time when gdm was suppose to appear:

1: Analog input
Cannot display this video mode

I believe it has something to do with the screen resolution; how do I fix that? Since I haven't actually installed Ubuntu I can't access xorg.conf

I would imagine that there exists a simple soulution, but I can't seem to find it...

When you first start up the LiveCD hit [F4] to do the install.

Also if you don't have 512MB RAM you may need to download and install Xubuntu. It is a lot lighter on the resources.
