help installing plugins

im tryin to burn a cd-r with brasero disc burner and it saysi dont have the plugins can any one help me thanks so very much one love INVITINGDOPEMAN

What type of file are you trying to burn? I would suggest you install the ubuntu-restricted-extras meta package. It is available in the repositories, or you can just click the link. This package willa also install flash, java and most of the codecs you will need to play most types of audio/video media.
