Set up RAID after installation?

I have a happily running Jaunty on a 500gb SATA.

Can I now set up two more SATA disks as RAID without a reinstall?

I am becoming more competent, but the Alternate text based install looks rather forbidding even so.

I have checked forums, but only found Raid during install

Any suggestions?

Based on what I can understand from what you asked, I think the answer is yes. Do you mean a hardware raid or a software raid? And I presume you do not intend to install ubuntu to the raid? Once the raid is activated either in a software raid or hardware raid, gparted can be used to partition the raid drive(s).
