I did an upgrading sequence from 8.04 CD > 8.11 network upgrade > 9.04 network upgrade. Had some problems the first time around because I wiped out the boot loader, then there was not enough freespace available on the /boot when going from 8.11 to 9.04. But then after resizing the /boot, it didn't even need the space made available???
Anyway, the new kernal did not work, I unistalled it and just use the kernal brought forth from 8.11, and now I have a pulse signal on my processor monitor.
I open the SystemMonitor and I see tracker-indexer using 19% nice and as I found that may be a bug so I ended it, but I am still seeing a pulse pattern, and the only thing other than the SystemMonitor (ended, as well) is FireFox, and there is still a pulse signal using 100%.:confused:
And it was pulsing before I got on the browser...
what to do?
