Hi everyone,
I installed Ubuntu 8.10 alongside Vista Ultimate for the first time a few minutes ago. Everything appeared to work fine throughout the installation.
When it was finished and I got to the Ubuntu login screen, it wouldn't accept my username and password. I'm 100% positive I'm entering it right.
I rebooted, and loaded up Vista to see if I could do anything to the passwords file from there... But now it's also rejecting my Vista username and password. I don't have the guest account enabled, so I'm completely out.
Is there anything I can try before wiping the entire hard drive?
