I'm using OpenOffice in Jaunty and I've got a weird problem. I've imported a Word document with macros in it. It opens up in OpenOffice OK and I can add text OK in Arial (I got hold of the extra thingy which adds it), and I can save and close the document OK. The problem is that the next time I open the document up, the last character of each text field on the first page only is in Times New Bleedin' Roman!

Any ideas?

Ha, interesting!

I'd be inclined to say it's a bug. I've had similar problems with OO myself (e.g. that the paragraphs suddenly jump to double-line unprompted and can't be changed back), and have yet to find a solution.

Probably completely silly but have you tried Ctrl+A-ing the document, then setting Arial as the font? Just in case the line breaks are still formatted as Times New Roman.

Cheers for the tip;I'll give it a go.

Oddly enough, I e-mailed the document over to a mate who runs Windows and in Word there is no formatting problem at all. Good news for me, as the document is a job application form!
