Hi guys I have currently been using Ubuntu in a dual boot setup with Windows 7, but due to continuing issues with Windows I have decided to reformat both my internal drives and just use Ubuntu.
I used the Desktop version of Ubuntu 9.04 first when I installed it.
But after doing some research on Ubuntu and RAID I realised I needed to download the Alternate CD which I have done.
Now I have managed to get part way through the installation but am having trouble manually setting up my partitions as Ubuntu is a fair bit different to Windows.
I have 2 500GB drives and want to setup a RAID 0 can someone please talk me through the partition setup process.
I have Googled the question trying to find a Newbie step by step tutorial but cannot find anything that relates to Ubuntu 9.04 only earlier versions which seem to be a little different.
Any help would be great until I get the hang of things.
