I want to dual-boot the desktop my mom uses now (it used to be mine), but I cannot backup the file for many reasons.
Anyway, Ubuntu won't let me select the first option when it comes time to partition.
I can only Use the entire disk, where XP is - and delete that.
Or Entirely use the USB device.
And finally to use the advanced manual partitioner.
Can I just use the entire USB device and install it there. My mom only browses a few sites and sends email, so she doesn't need to save much of anything. The USB device is 2GB. If I do choose to use entire USB device it won't touch the SDA2 partition where XP is right?
Thanks for any help.
