Im using a eeepc with 1 gig or ram and 4g harddrive, mostly used for school and cracking wifi's.

The problem im having is that when I try to upgrade through the admin updater it says that its unable to fetch the appropriate packages and im not sure how to mount the image for 9.04, I tried using gmountiso but it gives me an error that has 40 "s" in it and I don't get it. Ive heard of using nautalist scripts but everytime I try to google how to install it gives me some crazy work around that doesnt work.

So at the end of all this im just trying to upgrade to 9.04 and if anyone has any idea on how to do it please post or give a link, because im out of options...haha

thanks for the help

Had a longer answer but it all boiled down to this:

Upgrading from the update manager is sometimes flaky, a Live CD is better.

Or in your case, live USB stick, You can make a live usb pretty easily in ubuntu with an ISO, there's a tool in System->Administration (I think is where it is?) to do it.
