Downloaded Songbird and it's in my /home/p directory:

The 'ls' command gives:

p@p:~$ ls

When I try 'cd songbird' I get:

bash: cd: songbird: No such file or directory

Where am I going wrong?

Hi, its easier to install a deb package then trying to compile. You can download the deb package for songbird from here (http://www.getdeb.net/app/Songbird). Then double click on it to start the install process.

I was hoping to find the deb version! Thanks.

I'll still attempt to understand the installation process as far as .tar.bz at a later date.
