Hi all,

I am trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 on my Dell. I have the iso with me. I just dont want any graphic interface and other applications. I need to have just the kernel. However during installation, I do not see these options at all. It asks me language time zone and partition but nothing about the graphic environment etc.

Infact I am reinstalling the whole OS. I already have 9.04 running but since these additional programs were a hindrance, I decided to reinstall the entire OS. how can I remove them in the current system?

There isn't an option to install the CLI from the desktop CD. Use a minimal or an alternate iso.
