Compiz settings

This seems like it should be simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. Is there a way to use Compiz to disable window previews (so that it just shows the icon, like in Windows XP and earlier) when you press ALT+TAB. Showing previews causes it to lag a bit, especially when I have a lot of windows open at once.

Not that I'm aware of, but there are a number of different window switchers available in CompizConfig Settings Manager. You might find that the Static Application Switcher is more responsive.
