So have installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my previous computer and so far so good.. except the screen keeps going black and comes back.. repeatedly. I have tried to download drivers for the video card (ATI X1300) but when i try and install it it gives me a message that it can't read the file because of something along the lines of a bin file..
Any help would be appreciated and plz keep in mind that i have been using windows all my life and am having a bit of trouble getting used to this os.. If anyone is willing to offer me any insight into beginner info i would appreciate this very much.
