Fresh Dual-Boot Install Questions

Been wanting to do this for a while, but finally going to make the jump and do it.

Just purchased a new 320GB HD that I'm going to use to replace my exisiting HD in my laptop. I'd like to dual-boot Windows XP Pro and the latest build of Ubuntu. My question is which OS should I install first? I'm thinking I should do Windows XP first, then use the Ubuntu Live CD to set up the dual-boot.

Any other suggestions from the pros out there on any other recommended settings would be appreciated as well.

Installing XP first would be lot easier. XP will be automatically added to Ubuntu Grub
