are there any mods for ubuntu to look cooler and have more effects

im getting bored with plain old ubuntu i want to have a few cool mods and looks for it what is out there and how do i get it. also i dont have a graphics card other then the one built in the mother board

Do you have compiz-fusion enabled?

The above posts are mainly for themes, which is all good.

But if you want a docking bar like on a Mac, try Avant Window Manager, Cairo Dock, or Gnome Do's Docky bar.
