Hi all,

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and VirtualBox, but everytime I am in fullscreen the pidgin notifications each time somebody logs in interrupts the screen, I want to disable the notification frame that shows for a few seconds but I think that's not pidgin's setting but the notification app. How can that notification be disabled ?

Question 2: if I'm using the virtual machine but I am NOT using the mouse, only the keyboard the screen shades darker after like 1min, how can I disable that too or change the delay so I don't have to do random clicks to get the screen back to the normal luminosity ?

thanks

First one: it is a pidgin setting. In the buddy window, click tools > plugins. Select the libnotify plugin, click configure and knock yourself out.

Second one: not a clue.
