Will ubuntu update Firefox 3.0 to 3.5 ?

I have Jaunty installed, it comes with Firefox 3.0.X . Will that package be upgraded to 3.5.X ?

Yes; Firefox 3.5 will become the default browser in October when you upgrade to 9.10 Karmic Koala.

Mine did, all on its own - called Shiretoko, evidently it's name 'till koala comes out in october. Evidently you can re-name it, etc... but it's working quite happily here !!

Has more information - my update came down via Synaptic Package Manager having the auto update flag set to 'on' In Synaptic Package Manager, type in firefox - the entry that says just firefox should be active, if you are in doubt, click it for installation / udgrade (update), then accept.
