I have several videos of my kids running around being kids. I want to burn it so that when I put it in the dvd player it just plays. I have Power Iso and have made an ISO burned it to dvd and nothing. did I do something wrong?

ToVid is a nice application for it. Take a look at this Post (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=183936) for a nice beginners tutorial.

DeVeDe will work, alternatively you can burn a VCD.

Download Any Video Converter and convert your video to mpeg 2. Burn the disc with windows and choose the "mastered" format. Works every time!

Also check out ManDVD from GetDeb (http://www.getdeb.net/).

And I've just spotted QDVDAuthor from GetDeb.

Lots of choices!
