Hey

Im wanting to get a stuffed tux toy (like this (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/288e/)). But shipping that from the US is a bit expensive.

Anyone know of somewhere in Australia that sells something similar? Or somewhere that will ship to Aus for cheaper?

Cheers

Generally when I want to get anything from ThinkGeek, it's always a good idea to organise join postage with friends. The postage rates to Australia are actually quite good if you get a fairly big shipment. In otherwords, find 10 friends who want something from ThinkGeek, and organize to combine postage!

Thats the problem with getting stuff from OS, ya gotta buy a lot to make shipping worthwhile. But Im not paying $20 shipping for something that only costs $10.

Will have to see if anyone i know wants anything.

Try renaming this thread "Ausies do you want anything for ThinkGeek.com" and then maybe you can make it worth while. Unfortunately im in England. :(

thinkgeek doesn't make these things --- they probably buy them from a stuffed animal factory that makes mostly kids' toys and carnival prizes but also happens to make stuffed tuxes -- so see if you can find a stuffed animal factory in australia and buy from them

You could buy a sea container full of them from China and start a business. Check the second-hand stores first. Some child's tossed off toy could be a future Linux watch bird.
