Libboost 1.38 on 8.10

I need to install libboost 1.38 (for my ghost++ bot) on 8.10 (my keyboard/mouse fail in 9.04 and as far as I know this bug has not been solved).

In my searches I've seen people say there are unstable repositories that may have it, but I haven't seen any actual solutions (like what repositories) and I cannot find any in my searches.

Could anyone assist me getting this installed? If I have to go from source code can you help with that too?

The last few times I've posted here I've gotten poor responses and then reposted over on stackoverflow and gotten much better stuff back.
