I have a dedicated ubuntu dual boot 9.04 and 8.04 pc. I wish to change the boot order between the two and downloaded StartUp-Manager because I usually want to boot 9.04 first. The help file for a computer novice like me is as useful as a chocolate fireguard. I just need some advice about how to set the option. Currently (without setting up the manager)I am offered boot into 8.04 as the first option. In the drop down on boot select in the StartUp-Manager I only have 9.04 to select as an option. If I select this will I be able to select 8.04 on my boot screen too as the second option. This may sound a bit of a dim question to pose (2am and i am tired) but it has taken me hours to set everything up to work on both systems and I don,t want things to go pear shaped at this moment. Thanks for any help.
