Hello!

Just tried installing Ubuntu alongside with my Windows 7.
Windows 7 is located on two raiddisks. While I want to place the Ubuntu on my 3rd disk, out side of the raid. After I've installed Ubuntu on the disk without raid, I can't boot from it. Going into any partition manager shows that Ubuntu have been installed on the disk, but I just cant get it to boot.
Can the problem be that I've got raid on those other disks? Sounds weird..but what do I know...

Any tips? Help?

thanks :)

You mean I should've installed it before I reboot the system, after the installation?
The wierd thing is that I've tried to just boot that, single disk, where I've installed Ubuntu. At startup i just tells me that the disk isn't bootable. Something must be wrong, right?
