I got curious about whats going on with memristor technology i heard about a bit back. Don't seem to be much atm. Just these articles:

http://nextbigfuture.com/2009/07/synapse-is-memristor-and-memcapacitors.html

http://cacm.acm.org/news/33675-memristor-minds-the-future-of-artificial-intelligence/fulltext

None the less. Still a tech worthy of attention. ^.^

I've been wondering about this, too.

If memristors can really function like neurons, it's going to take some major rethinking to write software that takes advantage of their capabilities.

Not to mention the fact that nobody really understands how human minds operate - or even how neurons store memories.

Indeed but its worth it.
