Ubuntu Server Desktop

Hi All Im new to Ubuntu Server. Im trying to install and run the Desktop on the server but so fare im not having much luck. Ive installed gnome-desktop-environment but I still get the Sudo code page when I load into my server.

Ive tryed to load Firefox too and this will not load ever.

Using gksudo firefox and I get a error.

Can someone please give me some help. Is there a way to install ubunt server with the desktop from the installation cd or is it just easyer to do it from the sudo and load up that way.

Hi All I have fixed the problem know I had to install Unbuntu Desktop to get it to work correctly.

Created new problem can install new applications
