I can't get e-mail using Evolution.

I downloaded Ubuntu 9.04, and when I tried to set up the Evolution e-mail,
I wasn't able to get the e-mail from the server. The e-mail program says that it is online and working, but when I click on the 'send/recieve' button
I get a popup window that keeps saying 'waiting' and nothing happens. I'm using a pop server, and put in the right info from the ISP site. Can someone
help? Thanks!

Have you logged on to the server to see if there is new mail to download? I get that same box whenever there isn't any new mail.

I have the same problem as well it sort of freezes on fetching new emails at 35% and i have an email with an attachment lying in the outbox for a very long time not being sent .. I am using an exchange account and i inserted the url for the OWA
