I cannot seem to get my DVD Rewriter to recognize either DVD -RW or +RW discs. I've tried k3b and brasero with the same results. brasero will not even recognize a CD RW, but k3b did. I tried burning a VCD and my DVD player would not play it back.
I have the same problem on my desktop and my laptop.
I used to be able to burn all three formats with these two machines with no issues at all. The very same discs. Something seems to have changed since upgrading to 9.04.
