winff error after installation

I'm kind of new to Ubuntu ( I thought I would give it a try on an old laptop to see if I should put it an a new one I'm about to buy) so please bare with me. I downloaded a package for WinFF ( video conversion tool ) through synaptic and an error pops up saying

E: ttf-mscorefonts-installer: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Can anybody help, I would appreciate it.

I doubt this has to do with Winff. Why did you do a download anyway, or do you mean you have a regular install? Does the error also appear when you install any other package?
