This was the result. I find it neat that Ubuntu didn't sweat when I asked it to 'Open 81 items in The GIMP'. (Each picture is at least 1280x800, as a JPEG: though there are a good few that are much larger, one picture is 11000 pixels wide... Additionally, there's a 6MB GIF (30,000x15,000) of the night from space which is a monster taking ages to load)

I have then open at the moment on Desk 2.

I was hoping to do this with videos, but it didn't work so well. Perhaps I should try with 9.04, because I get flickery video with OpenGL acceleration.

EDIT: Added image of Shift Switcher

hmm.....

Well, I can't say if that's good or bad...but if I tried to load "all my pictures" into gimp, I think I'd have a bit more trouble.

Cool, but I'd never attempt loading every picture I have in gimp; I have thousands, it'd never happen lol.

I use ImageMagick and scripts for bulk processing and resizing.

It's neat when time slows down as well.

You do it because you can.

Where is that picture of Internet Explorer completely full of toolbars?

Where is the weatherbug?

I love that picture. It reminds me of why I haven't used windows in 3 years.

I want my machine back. They're MY CPU cycles!

Man, if I had more RAM, I could open way more than just 0,02% of all my images. :) Of course, I don't have compiz running.

Also, I once tried to open every graphical program I have installed, but I can't find the screenshot.

A telephone tech support person's nightmare....

T.S. Agent: "OK sir, now I need you to enter www.google.com into the address bar."

User: "Where do I put it? I have 15 little boxes I can type it into!"

T.S. Agent: "**** Sigh*****"
