I don't think I did the best job with my title but I'll elaborate. I was thinking how awesome it would be if Ubuntu put out an "Ubuntu Bible". I have a book called the "MySQL and PHP Bible" and its an awesome book! I'd love to see something like this for Ubuntu. Basically just a giant comprehensive book of Ubuntu HowTo and commands, workarounds, lingo, etc.
Now I know a lot of people will say, well all of this is online, why a book? For me personally, it helps to have a hard copy and just look at the index to see what page I need. For example, the PHP/MySQL book I mentioned is some 500+ pages with examples, explanations, screenshots, code shots, etc. Its just awesome, I like to see such a thing for Ubuntu. Any thoughts?
