Nose, Throat and Ear specialist? Anybody?

If so what in the throat can cause a monotone voice?

I've also read somewhere that people with monotone voices are just hiding their feelings?

Nose, not noise. "Ear, nose & throat".

Something tells me a quick expedition to http://google.com would be much more productive and much more likely to yield factually accurate results than inquiring in the off topic section of a Linux forum.

Just a thought.

I have been ,but the info has been unclear to me.

Only thing I could find was:

I am sure by now that google has told you that an ear, nose and throat specialist is called an otolaryngologist. Perhaps this question would be better suited for a forum whose scope included otolaryngology, and would therefore be much more likely to be frequented by the experts whose advice you seek?

monotone vocal usage is not a dysfunction or a disease. going to an laryngologist, in that case, would be a waste. 'monotone' is simply an employment of a narrow range of pitch when talking and, typically, in the lower part of your total vocal range (people who speak in a narrow pitch range, but in the upper part of their voices, are typically labeled 'annoying' rather than 'monotone').

have you ever recorded yourself speaking, or heard yourself on voice mail?
