It's a South African chatting program that used to be restricted to cellphones and windows computers.. Great to hear it is now usable in Ubuntu!

Most official place I could find for it: http://devzone.mxit.com/libPurple/downloads/
I doubt it will work on 64bit but no harm in trying..

I tried to get it to work, even with a -force command to get past the invalid architecture problem.

Anyway, can someone please try compile it for ubuntu 32bit karmic? (a .deb would be awesome.)

I did ask how I could get the plugin to work with 64bit Jaunty on the official mxit forums about a week ago, but still no reply.
