Hi,
My apologies if this is not posted in the right forum.
I am running Jaunty. I've got a Python application that depends on libusb, I downloaded from:
www.berry4all.com
The current version in Synaptic shows as 0.1, but there is an available 1.0. The app is giving me difficulty, so I wanted to see if upgrading to 1.0 would help.
Using Synaptic, I downloaded 1.0 and 1.0 -dev. I thought to make sure I was using the correct library, I would try to remove the older version, but that threatened to remove may other dependant programs.
So, my question is this, how do I either upgrade to the 1.0 libraries, or ensure that an application is pointing at the upgraded libraries?
