Hello There. I am trying to install Linux in Mac OS X 10.5.6 by way of VirtualBox. I downloaded the .iso disk image and burned it to a Disk, but I can't seem to figure out how to install it into a virtual machine. Can anyone help?

Okay. I figured out how to do this, but I was wondering if you guys could be me an explanation of something. I went through the Install process, and it told me to restart. I did, and it gave me my desktop. On my desktop is an icon that says "Install". That takes me through the same process again. Is that needed, or should I just ignore it?

VB's documentation seems a little out of date. I just got Jaunty running in VB on my Mini (OSX.5.8) and it was quirky and required a few restarts. I think the thing to remember to do is to click ONCE on your Ubuntu virtual machine in the VB app (with the virtual machine shut down), get to "Devices", and unmount/eject the CD image.
I did mine from an .iso, though, so your mileage may vary.
