Hello!

So, I'm a 8.10 user, and was trying to upgrade to 9.04 when something went horribly wrong. I don't know what, I don't know why, but now I can't do anything after the log in screen. It has the new 9.04 load screen and log in screen, I enter my username and pw, and then it just goes to a blank desktop, no top or bottom bar and the mouse changes to the loading thing. Please help!!

Thanks!

Jaunty went horribly wrong for me unless I used the open source video drivers for my "legacy" ATI card. I went back to Intrepid and am once again happy using the last released ATI drivers. AMD/ATI will never get another cent from me. Those "legacy" (defined, of course, by ATI) chipsets' drivers will never be updated again, be it for Vista/7, Mac, or Linux.

You made a backup? No, then you need to reinstall, otherwise put the backup in place and you are good to go...
