haha actually made me laughGood. :D

There are tons of ways to eat carrots (http://www.carrotrecipes.net/) and/or get vitamin A (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_A#Sources_of_vitamin_A).

Instead of eating carrots to improve your vision, put a piece of paper with a very tiny hole infront of your eyes.

This will train your eyes and it will make you look funny.

At least you wont be eating carrots

I can only eat carrots boiled, I simply cannot swallow them otherwise. I don't know why, but it's certainly an odd problem. I recommend you eat them in stews and soups.

Keep your eyes on the prize, it doesn't matter how they taste, just get your eyes better...

A serious solution for me at least is to eat them while watching movies in theatres since you forget to taste when you're into the movie at least for me lol. A tastier way is to eat cream of carrot soup. It is fattening but healthy. Fattening does not mean unhealthy necessarily by the way.

Do not eat carrots or any other vegetables. It is a plot by the government to control you. Concentrate on eating all the chips, candy and popcorn you can. That is where all the real nutrition is.

HappyFeet u should talk to my mom for me :D

so far soups and stews seem like the best option however whevener i make them it seems that i get too little carrot. In a bowl of soup u can probably get half a stick of carrot

Yes they are a good source of vitamin A. But it's only a myth that carrots make your eye sight better.

I am a carrot addict! I can go thought 2 bags in a few hours. But I get odd side affects like:

Going orange
Smelly carroty farts (don't go near me while I have eaten carrots)
Stomache aches
Rashes (they also hurt)
Needing the toilet alot (being polite)
Feeling sick

I like my carrots raw (meaning not cooked, wash or anything like that).

And thanks a bunch (of carrots) you got me in an urge for carrots now!

You can eat all the carrots you want, but you will notice that your eyesight will not get better. Your eyes will stay healthier, but your vision will not improve.

Your problem is not playing too much games, your problem is that you are not playing the correct type of games :P You will need to play first person shooters where it might be difficult to see the dot on the screen (an opponent or part of him) and identify it as a target automatically.

Your other problem is same as mine, your genes gave you bad eye sight + some things with your childhood involving eyes and stuff.

btw about carrots.
perhaps the carrots you are buying are bad and/or old. you might want to consider moving to a different part of the word where they have proper carrots.

get a garden and grow your own carrots, the stuff sold at the markets in many places in the world now only resemble carrots, it basically consist only of water, artificial sweeteners and pigments, genetically modified starch, and pesticides. :p a true carrot is yummy and sweet, even if eaten raw. :)

while Vitamin A might tied to vision, its not to focusing, but to night and color vision. distances related issues came form many things, for instance your skull changing shape and putting pressure on the eyes changing their shape, also your eye's ability to focus becomes worse as you age. Take it from someone who has been in glasses his whole life and eats carrots all the time. Vitamins dont improve your vision.

dont beieve me here are some sources

I have been thinking on this for a long time myself. I think one thing is pretty clear here: if the screen is bad against your eyes, you will probably notice a decrease in your psych health.

B.t.w. you don't need to eat carrots to get those vitamines a.f.a.i.k, they exist in other ingredients as well.

There are a lot of foods that are rich in beta carotene. Try something from this list:

you might try taking omega 3 and omega 6 capsules they are used to keep your eyes from getting worse. That said the only thing that worked well for me was an injection of stem cells directly into the right eye the left one is completely blind. Hope that you never get to this point.

I can't stand my carrots prepared in any way. Eating them raw ftw. Dipping it in ranch dressing is even more ftw :D

I like eating carrots with my mouth. Can't say I've tried other methods yet.

edit: sometimes I have trouble with tomoatoes - something to do with an incident when I was little (more years ago than I care to remember) The "disguise" option seems to have some merit.

FAT is really an acronym for Flavor And Texture. When food is "Fat-Free" it has neither.
