View Full Version : [ubuntu] Installed ubuntu 9.04 but can't boot to GUI

guys,
i just installed 9.04. Only one time it booted to normal desktop. Now its taking me to command prompt or terminal. What to do pls. advise.
Old solutions I searched on web can't solve it. thanks in advance.

Could you post a complete description of your computer make and model, please? Also, all information about your hardware information such as video and audio card would be very helpful. These problems are usually due to issues with the video drivers.

Do you see any error messages during startup?
