I want to draw my background with Compiz-fusion instead of gdm, but my panels (transparent) don't redraw themselves, leaving the transparent picture of the previous wallpaper on the panels. I cannot let the panels show the compiz background (differs from the gdm one) behind them.
Now I found a function in compiz-fusion which makes the panels transparent, but they'll make the icons transparent either! How do I make the icons opaque, but the panel itself transparent?
