Hi there,

Im fairly new to Ubuntu and I recently installed the OS to the second HDD on my desktop. The desktop configuration is as follows:
pentium 4
512mb RAM
HDD1 - Windows XP
HDD2 - Ubuntu

The installation went fairly well (I used the whole HDD2 solely for Ubuntu) and it was working fine till today.

Upon booting, I would choose Ubuntu from the choices and unfortunately, it wont continue, giving me this message:

BusyBox v1.10.2 )Ubuntu 1:1.10.2 -2ubuntu7) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of builtin commands

(initramfs)

For now, I am only booting to Windows just to use the desktop. I suspect my HDD2 is wrecked and it may need replacement, I just want to be sure what to do next before I start messing up all the OS on the desktop.

Hope you guys can help me out here.

Regards,

Nathaniel
