I'm stealing this from the other guys post about the Original Series. I was a much bigger fan of TNG than TOS.

So how 'bout it?

My favorite of all time from TNG is The Inner Light (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjCxl9JL6Ug).

Followed by Masks (The one where Data assumes multiple personalities.)

"Encounter at Farpoint (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094030/)" sticks in my mind, probably because I rented a copy (on VHS) before it was ever shown on TV over here.

I like the bit at the end of Cause and Effecy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0162905/) when Frasier Crane Captain Bateson asks if he can render assistance, and Capt. Picard invites him over to talk.

Tapestry - the one where Q let's Picard relive when he was a cadet and gets stabbed through the heart.

"Who Watches The Watchers (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Who_Watches_The_Watchers_%28episode%29)"

Only because Picard demonstrates his absolute dedication to his principles, down to his willingness to die for them.

Family - the one right after the two-part Best of Both Worlds which is also a favorite, but I enjoyed that look into the larger, more personal lives of some of the crew.
