So, whats the best way to install ubuntu with wubi on a different HD which is SATA based? Ive made posts about not being able to install with wubi, since it doesnt support SATA drives. Is there another method? I would really try to install ubuntu, but this technical disadvantage of wubi doesnt allow me to. I dont have a working CD/DVD drive to use a regular installation. It has to be all from net-downloaded components.

Thank you!

Go to this web site and download the Windows version of Unetbootin (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/) and then you can have it download the software for Ubuntu to install on your machine. It gives the option to load on HD or USB device.
