View Full Version : [ubuntu] Help with Speakers

I recently installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my HP dv3510nr laptop as a secondary OS. Everything went fine except I can't get the sound out of my Altec Lansing speakers to work.

Do I have to find/install the drivers or do something else?

Do your internal speakers work? How are you connecting the external speakers?

I was talking about my internal speakers, sorry if I didn't make that clear. Ubuntu recognizes my sound card but I can't get it to make any sounds for some reason.
