Hello unbuntu-eers,
I'm trying to source up information on how to make a personalize digital dashboard for my car. The basic idea is to make a set of custom gauges for a show car, and have in place of a set of standard gauges, an LCD screen. I turn the key, and the display lights up and shows my custom designed gauge layout in a virtual display of a dashboard.
I have searched hi and low, but all I can find is a collection of airplane, or Boating dashboard software.
Can you help?
Id like this to run off of linux, no logos, nor login, just turn the key and it comes on. I don't want to have to code (as I dont know how) for each gauge. But Im wondering has anyone made anything via linux for this type of thing? Ive seen it done via windows mobile, using a micro form factor computer. And id nee this to run off of stock car sending units and inputs such as tachometer etc.
Any help here?
Thanks,
yaughn
