The live CD i have has kernel 2.6.28-11. It works perfectly.
When i upgraded to 2.6.28-14 everything got off track.
Issues ive encountered:
-VLC (goldeneye) memory leak, fills up my 1gb swap space. Terrible video quality from the start.
-Computer fails to boot 2/3 times. Usually the screen just turns off, sometimes i get effed up non-graphics (cache issue?)
-Pulse Audio: incredible amount of distortion for most applications. Inability to switch to ALSA in System > Preferences > Sound.
Im sure there are other issues but it didn't take me long to switch back to 2.6.28-11.
