Upgarde the Version from 8.04 to 8.10

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 8.04 ,it is quite stable now.My question is it good to upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 ?

Hi, 8.04 is a long term support version compared to 8.10 so you won't have to upgrade as often. If your 8.04 is working well for you then its probably better to stick with what you know works well. Just my 2 cents worth :)

I agree. I "upgraded" from 8.04 to 8.10 and had more problems than before. Not that 8.10 is buggy or something, 8.04 just worked better for me. If you're happy with Hardy, stick with it until the next LTS.
