What is this species of Lizard?

I recently took a picture of a lizard near my house, and I was wondering if anyone knew what species it is. I was thinking about putting the picture on Wikipedia, if there isn't a picture of one already.

If it helps, I'm in the Gulf Coast region of Texas, and this picture was taken at night.

That's a gecko, not a lizard.
EDIT: well, geckos are lizards of course, but if googling geckos rather than lizards will narrow it down heaps.

Wow! there are roughly 2,000 species of geckos.

This is a pretty cool one, though. (not that I know which).

I worked through the key as best I could from the photo, and the answer I got was.....

Which looks pretty close, but the spots on yours seem more defined, though I'm sure there is a great level of variation in this with age, sex, temperature, arousal etc.
