Help with installing Logitech Setpoint for drivers to LX 710

What is Logitech Setpoint? LX 710 is a model number for it?
By the way, are you experiencing problems with some hardware? Which one?

Not experiencing any problems beyond not being able to use the extra buttons, LX 710 is the model for the keyboard and mouse.

Made a quick Google search and found some results, here (http://www.google.se/search?q=configure+logitech+mouse+linux&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a).

A.f.a.i.k there is no Logitech Setpoint software for Linux. You'll haveto edit some textfile or find some tool which does that for you.

This might be the answer. I found this over on the Linuxquestions.org site. Go to

http://www.hidpoint.com/

and download their software. It's supposed to behave like Setpoint and supports numerous Linux distros.
