Hello.
I have ubuntu 8.04 working great with all the codecs and programs I need. I am going to install 9.04 in a couples of days, but I dont want to install all these programs from the internet after the instalation, it takes a lot of time. Instead, I would like to have all the programs and codecs I need in a CD Rom (or a pendrive) and then install it from there. Is it possible? How can I do it?

Thanks
God bless you!!

I've never done it before so I can't give any details, but check out a utility called "apt on CD"

+1 for using APTonCD. It should be in your Synaptic. You will have to do some updates via the net, but this should cut that number down drastically.
