I am trying to install w3, the emacs self standing web browser (not w3m-emacs) in my Ubuntu Hardy machine (8.04).
I downloaded the file in using:
git clone git://git.sv.gnu.org/w3.git and
And followed the instructions in the install file. I followed the instructions rather blindly (basically because my low expertise in how to install from source, does not allow me for anything else). The fact is that w3 does not seem to be working.
Any help or ideas as to what to do, or at least what to attempt, are much appreciate it.
