Hi,

I am running Ubuntu 8.10 on a HP Pavilion N3210. Yes, its an old dawg, but its a little project of mine, and I have it working just fine with a Linksys wireless card. However, the video is pathetic (800 x 600) and the display registered "unknown". The computer originally ran under Windows 98 (yes, its OLD) with a Trident "Cyberblade i7" AGP 3D Graphics w/ 4MB Shared Video Memory driver.

Anyone know where to get something that will work a little better than the standard generic video driver?

Has anyone with one of these upgraded the CPU?

Thanks.
