compiz-check no renderer help

I've enabled desktop enhancements, and downloaded and setup the configuration manager for compiz.

I've now got the cube facitlity and the custom options in visual effects section of the appearance menu option.

But if I run compiz -check I get the following, but everything seems to be working.



Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04
Desktop environment: GNOME
Graphics chip: ATI Technologies Inc R700 [Radeon HD 4870 X2]
Driver in use: fglrx
Rendering method: None



My hardware setup is as displayed in my signature and I'm running 64bit version of 9.04.

So should I be worried if it seems to be working but there is no renderer listed.

no matter what i've tried I still can't get compiz-check to fine a renderer.

so how is everything working without the renderer?
